SPRAYING FOR SPRUCE BUDWORM
Please be aware that the spray
Safers btk (bacillus thuringienis kurstaki) is available in small
quantities at Canadian Tire and Art Knapps. 100ml makes 30 litres
of spray and costs about $12.
You should be able to also buy a wand
sprayer that would mix and spray the bacillus on to understory small
trees and as high as you can get up, on larger trees.
Early morning is best for spraying
when the air movement is little. Please read and follow the
directions on the package/container.
